Selling Like Hot cakes

Bake n Beebz had our first venture into business yesterday.
It has long been my dream to make a lil dollar from my hobby. Myself and Mr Bake n Beebz often think of how much we'd love to bake and sell and work at creating our own business... so we decided to give it a test run at a local market.
On Friday although still hobbling on crutches and slightly mental and under the influence from prescription druggies....I joined Costco, for business annnnd pleasure. Not only did I wanna get my trolley loaded up with some bulk American import bargains but to scope out and buy industrial sized bags of flour, sugar and butter for biiiig quanties of cupcake making. Harry pushed me around in a wheel chair whilst I grabbed and sipped refils of cola.
muffin mobile number 2
...Also joined mainly to buy 2kg jars of Skippy PB. yeeeeaaah PB Buddy!
I spent all of Saturday baking and icing until 1.30 am in the morning. after several hurdles and 10 split icing bags... I had baked enough cupcakes to feed/supply a nation of sweet tooth people with pocket fulls of money.
-5am- Sunday morning/night- Mr Bake n Beebz fired up the Muffin mobile and we loaded up the wagon!
-by 7am we had eaten a Mc donalds drive through breakfast and were setting up our stall.
Honestly, Business was slow as first, a mixture of freezing weather and kinda pikey/cheapy vibe to the market, kinda meant people were tight with their purse strings. I felt a bit disheartened but Mr BnB kept me entertained and we made up some cakey chants and soon enough my cupcakes started to disappear from the stall. In the end we sold over 3/4s of our baked goods, had a lot of fun and made a nice little profit. good day. I've learnt a whole lot and certainly looking forward to our next sale!
The best part of it all? eating the poor left overs that didnt sell. its a win, win job!

Fudgey healthier brownies (Gluten Free)

Chocolate is for sure the best medicine will mend anything, a broken heart, a broken a toe or a sweet tooth in need. At the rate these chocolate brownies are disappearing my recovery rate will be miraculous.
I have been baking these beany bad boys daily, my favourite way is in the muffin pan for individual bite sized brownies with extra crispy sides and a deep filled fudge like center. Best way Only way is to eat the hot straight outta the pan.
Reeeeewind. Im taking us back to my brownie post circa June 2011. Whilst this brownies were good, being a baking perfectionist i wanted to make them better... there now 100% bettererrrr. Still fat free and packed with that good fibre stuff. There now. Decadently fudgey with a proper naughtily should be criminal taste... except they are not reeeeeally a guilty sin they are totes innocent ;)

Doctors told me to have my foot up for at least 5 days but after 3 days of lying in bed, I have been super drowsy and going out of mind on drugs as cabin fever set in. Today I decided to get up and start reppin' my crutches...

My eats have been simple and pretty snacky and minimal as i haven't got the mobility to get down stairs to the kitchen and rattle those pots and pans... Need a private chef or something to see to my demanding and constant foodie/ peanut butter needs.

Yeah, that homemade beet relish is preeeettty special, recipe post will be up next! as well as the improved black bean brownies!

What I ate Wednesday... MUFFIN MOBILE...

S'up playaaaasss. I just rolled up in my first set of wheels!
Yup Bake and Beebz is on the road... reppin' in a zebra print smart car! we've nicked named her the muffin mobile... I just need to pass my practical test next. But for the time being Im being chauffeur driven around in our new motor by Mr BnB!
we have been zipping about enjoying our freedom, my first request was that we make the drive to the next town to get to the nearest frozen yoghurt place!

Whilst at the shopping centre also picked up some essentials... American candy...

Back to W.I.A.W and Back to the business...as my resolution stipulates, im going to get back into blogging regularly, so i'ma just hop on board the W.I.A.W train once more...

I think one of the things that made me lose my blog mojo is the lack of day light. My SLR just isnt a happy bunny with out natural light so I'm having to pretty much rely on instargram on my iphone to capture anything.

    Breakfast:
7 am... GF fibre flakes with blue berries and half a chopped apple.
morning snack: Glass o' Green monstah... spinach, Soya milk and protein powder smoothie for some extra nutrients.
Lunch, 1pm: 2 slices of seedy gluten free bread. one, topped with guacah molaaay and beetroot slices and the other smuthered in Peanut butter. washed down with a bubbley soda pop.
For dessert I had myself a nibble of some warrrrrm chocolate chip cookie that I baked. Its a new to me box mix, and it was chewie chocolate win.
Gonna take the rest into work for a mid week pick up for my colleagues! (if there are any left by tomorrow...)
then walked bobbin over the local fields this afternoon and then Before heading go to the gym, I had a bowl of hoooatmeal heaven. banana, caramel pudding and dark chocolate dreams PB topped oats.
{INSERT KILLAH STAIR MASTER WORKOUT} Hit the gym for some cardio and strength excercises with harry. Did 20 mins on the stationary bike and only 10 minutes on the stepper machine but I was seriously wiped, my bum was beat so me and my sore limbs headed home for din dins.
post workout fuel of the baby ruth bar I bought, not the best protien source I'd admit. My sweet tooth has been in constant ohhhver drive since Christmas. I'm very much struggling to resist ALL chocolate sugary temptations. waaaahhhh... But dinner was a delicious pitta pizza... Gluten free pitta base with pesto topped with mushrooms and mozzarella. served with a simple balsamic tom and spinach salad. yum.
annnnnd that was the day that was. lots o' nomz woz had. Time to, make myself a hot drink and watch some Dexter! ive only started watching it, but I'm so hooked! G'night.

    what did you eat wednesday????
has christmas/ the holidays left you in a sugary rut? hat ways do you combat the indulgences of the past few weeks?

As always thanks to Jenn at Peas and Crayons for hosting W.I.A.W!
